Twilight Talks
The Green Register's early evening talks supported by Ecomerchant: together promoting ethical, healthy sustainable building materials
The Green Register has proudly launched a new series of events. On the second Monday of each month, we’ll be running Twilight Talks - a relaxed and informal string of events on sustainable building matters to complement our regular training topics.
Each one-hour event will be FREE of charge and feature short talks from one or more speakers. With Q&A and discussion sessions throughout, everyone is invited to be part of the conversation. We’ll be holding Twilight talks at 5-6pm, in the sweet spot between work and dinner – so join us to nourish the mind before replenishing the body!
Low carbon building: unintended consequences and how to avoid them

Setup as part of the Government’s drive to “transform construction” , Lee brings a wealth of experience with over 15 years’ experience of selling and fitting large scale solar farms and off grids sites across the world. In such as short space of time ABC has supported over 100 projects across the UK embedding active building principles all in the aim of helping to decarbonise the UK’s current and future building stock. Join Lee and hear more about the role of ABC.

About the Speakers
Lee Chambers
Lee Chambers is Chief Commercial Officer for the for the Active Building Centre (ABC). He’s an experienced director with a demonstrated history of working in the renewables and environment industry. Skilled in Negotiation, Photovoltaics, Electrical Wiring, energy storage, Environmental Awareness, and EV futures, he’s also a specialist in aggressive business development.
Lee has a long history in senior sales roles with the last 15-years spent in solar energy. He’s passionate about changing things for the better and mindful of the commerciality of doing so. Lee takes pleasure in questioning the established wisdom on the basis that “if you always do what you’ve always done, you will always get what you’ve got”. Lee leads a team of pioneers focussed on the commercial application of innovative technology in the buildings industry. The remit is simple – INNOVATE, EDUCATE, CONSOLIDATE, REPLICATE.
Twilight Talks are supported by Ecomerchant.
