- Membership fees: Membership fees are paid annually and non-refundable. The annual membership fee is in addition to any course fees.
- Renewal: When renewal is due, TGR will issue a renewal invite. The membership renewal fee must be paid within 30 days of the renewal date to ensure continuation of your Membership. All benefits associated with Membership including website entry and use of the TGR logo will cease after the 30-day period if the fee is not received.
- Qualifying Training: Some membership benefits are conditional on at least one member of staff of the member organisation having completed qualifying training. Qualifying training includes any of our paid training lasting two hours or more. Futureproof Essentials online training course and tailored in-house CPD sessions also fall into this category. Twilight talks are not included.
- TGR logo/brand: Member organisations whose staff have completed the qualifying training are entitled to use the TGR logo when advertising their TGR membership. The logo and associated branding may not be use on other promotional material or without reference to your organisation’s membership. Use of the TGR brand following cessation of Membership is prohibited.
- TGR membership certificates: TGR membership certificates are issued to member organisations when at least one member of staff has completed the qualifying training.
- Publication on our online Register of Sustainable Construction Professionals: The register is located on the TGR website. It is available to the public free of charge; by becoming a member of TGR you consent to the contact details you provide for your organisation being published on the site unless you have indicated otherwise. However, inclusion on the Register is conditional on completion by at least one member of staff of the member organisation having completed qualifying training as described above. This requirement must be complied with at all times during Membership. If the trained staff member(s) leaves the employment of the organisation for any reason a replacement staff member must attend the next practicable qualifying training course(s).
- Membership for organisations: The membership fee for an organisation is calculated according to the number of staff in the organisation.
- Collection, storage and use of your personal data to administer your membership: To process your membership application and administer the membership benefits requested, we require a named main contact at your organisation. We collect and store the name, email address, address and telephone number of the person completing our membership application form. The information supplied is used to create a user account on our website to allow you to login at a future date to access membership benefits and update the information we hold about you and the member organisation. We will also add you to our mailing list to keep you informed about your membership benefits, including details of our forthcoming training events and other news. We may occasionally also contact you by phone. You can update your communication preferences at any time through logging in to our website, using the link in our mailing footer or contacting us by email: mail@greenregister.org.uk If you are no longer the correct named main contact for your organisation, we would be grateful if you could let us know. - In joining TGR, Members demonstrate their commitment to the promotion and implementation of sustainable building practices. TGR’s liability for the acts or omissions of TGR Members or their employees, sub-contractors and agents, is limited to the fullest extent permissible by law and except because of negligence or fraud on the part of TGR.
- TGR shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses and its total liability under these terms shall be limited to Fees paid by the member in the 12-month period prior to any loss or damage occurring. Membership of TGR does not imply that the views or actions of TGR Members are endorsed by or represent those of TGR.
- TGR reserves the right to cancel the Membership of a person or organisation from TGR in the event of conduct by that person or organisation which, in the reasonable opinion of TGR, is incompatible with or prejudicial to the aims, objectives or interests of TGR or its Members.
