Twilight Talks

The Green Register's early evening talks supported by Ecomerchant: together promoting ethical, healthy sustainable building materials

On the second Monday of each month The Green Register brings you our Twilight Talks - a relaxed and informal string of events on sustainable building matters to complement our regular training topics.

Each one-hour event is FREE of charge and features short talks from one or more speakers. With Q&A and discussion sessions throughout, everyone is invited to be part of the conversation. We hold Twilight talks at 5-6pm, in the sweet spot between work and dinner – so join us to nourish the mind before replenishing the body!

Using 3D Digital Methods in Circular Design

We are all trying to evolve our understanding and practice of what sustainable construction means in the circular economy and how to measure the impacts.

In a ground-breaking exemplar of designing for Circular Living, Chetwoods has developed a new methodology that combines existing technologies in innovative ways to create enhanced digital outputs. These outputs deliver new layers of data to create and visualise highly detailed 3D models, and to record information for the quantification and reuse of materials. Stored on a visual hub they are accessible to teams working on the optimal deconstruction and reconstruction of an existing building. You can see a video of the technology here
