- Do you know the difference between direct and indirect cold water supplies and which one would be more suitable in any given situation?
- Are you confident in specifying the optimal type of hot water solution for your client taking into account installation and running costs?
- Do you know the most sustainable plumbing materials to specify?
Cath Hassell, director of ech2o and long time TGR core trainer has spent 15 years on site as a plumber and has been designing sustainable plumbing solutions for the built environment since 1998.
Cath will be presenting a two-hour interactive workshop introducing the core plumbing issues that architects and other construction professionals involved in building services need to consider when designing domestic and small commercial buildings.
Delegates will learn the different options for cold water, hot water and heating, the advantages and disadvantages of each, how they interact with each other or with existing systems if in a refurbishment situation.
Materials choices, costs issues, ease of installation, where they fit into a sustainable strategy and how they interact with renewables are all covered through guided learning and group work.
Cath has a track record of very positive feedback from her TGR presentations over the past 18 years so be sure to book early as this session will sell out.
