Urbane Eco is a leading sustainable building company based in Bristol. Managing Director Nick Lloyd has been a builder for over forty years and has taken a special interest in breathable insulation and whole house energy performance over the last 10 years. We became a PAS2030 accredited installer of energy efficiency measures as part of the Green Deal. It is our belief that as well as being energy efficient, houses should also be healthy places to live – and our approach takes into account issues such as interstitial condensation, humidity, and air quality. We look at every project with a whole house approach to ensure that the work we carry out is suitable for and genuinely beneficial to the property. We prefer to use sustainably sourced and manufactured materials. We are approved installers of insulation for external and internal solid walls, roofs and floors. With a multi-skilled team, we also install high performance windows and doors. We have the expertise to work on whole house retrofits and new builds, delivering high levels of energy efficiency and airtightness in the fabric. Last year we also started supplying insulation materials and accessories, and can offer advice and training for these products.
