A Proctor Group Ltd

We are a UK-based manufacturer specialising in membranes, thermal  and airtightness solutions for the construction industry. From our base in Scotland, we supply products that support low-energy, low-carbon buildings and help the industry meet increasingly ambitious environmental standards.

Our focus is on improving building fabric performance through effective control of air, vapour, moisture and thermal energy. By addressing these fundamentals, we help designers, contractors and building owners create buildings that are more energy-efficient, durable, comfortable and healthy for occupants. Our products are used across a wide range of sectors, including housing, education, healthcare, commercial and public buildings.

We recognise that the construction industry has a critical role to play in reducing carbon emissions and resource use, and we aim to support that transition through practical, evidence-based solutions. Several of our products are certified for use in Passivhaus buildings, reflecting our commitment to robust performance, transparency and third-party verification.

We work closely with architects, consultants, Passivhaus designers and contractors to ensure that our membranes are specified and installed correctly, enabling buildings to perform as intended. Alongside product supply, we provide technical guidance, training and on-site support, recognising that good outcomes depend on both materials and knowledge. This collaborative approach helps close the performance gap between design and reality.

Our manufacturing approach prioritises quality, consistency and longevity. We design products to perform over the full life of the building, reducing the need for replacement or remedial work and supporting whole-life carbon reduction. Where possible, we consider material efficiency, durability and responsible sourcing as part of our product development process.

We are also committed to improving indoor environmental quality. Effective airtightness and vapour control play a key role in preventing condensation, mould growth and unintended heat loss, contributing to healthier internal environments and reduced energy demand. These outcomes align closely with the wider social and environmental goals promoted by the Green Register community.

As members of the Green Register, we value the shared commitment to sustainable building, ongoing learning and professional collaboration. We see sustainability not as a single target but as a continuous process of improvement, informed by research, standards and real-world performance.

By combining specialist manufacturing expertise with a strong sustainability ethos, we aim to support the delivery of buildings that are fit for the future — resilient, efficient and capable of meeting the environmental challenges ahead.
