Good news for Bristol SMEs

Green Register member Urbane Eco, one of Bristol’s most forward thinking building companies, have moved to larger premises on an industrial estate in St Anne’s as their range of operations expand to include the supply of sustainable building materials to the trade and self builders. Having struggled with the supply chain for many products over the years they decided to not only stock more for their own use, but to facilitate other SMEs using them too.

Dan recently popped down to see them and met director Nick Lloyd and his assistant and Phoebe Westwood. He heard that Nick is now offering technical advice and training and also got a lick from Dylan the dog after giving him a biscuit!

Urbane are stocking: Wood fibre Insulation board for internal and external walls; wood fibre and flex insulation for warm roof systems and tapes for air tightness; complete systems including beads and mesh; flashings for window sills, verges and fascias; and renders and top coats. Soon to be added is Xella Calcium Silicate boards.
