Empty Homes to Cosy Homes, our last Twilight Talk of 2021 – watch it here for free

Submitted by birgit on Wed, 12/15/2021 – 10:29

The Green Register’s jam-packed 2021 event programme was wrapped up with our final Twilight Talk event of the year, where we welcomed David Clare of Habitat for Humanity Great Britain to outline the organisation’s drive to turn empty spaces into affordable homes for vulnerable groups. You can view the event recording free of charge here.

Before we wish you a well-deserved winter break, here are just some of the (brand new!) events we’ll be hosting early in the new year.

Our next Twilight Talk event takes place on 10th January, where we’ll be joined by Bristol Housing Festival and friends to discuss Sustainability and Modern Methods of Construction.

Real-life Retrofit Case Studies: Comfort Catapult on 13th January brings together the contractor, client and specialist services to discuss the realities of retrofitting a 200-year-old home to modern building performance standards.

At Biodiversity Net Gain – Requirements, Implementation and Opportunities on 24th February, Stacey Cougill of Eight Associates will explain the new Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) element of the Environmental Bill and how to integrate BNG into development plans.

We hope that you enjoy the festivities and we look forward to starting 2022 learning together.
