Thermal Bypass Workshop: Understand the Risks and Learn from Case Studies – Online

Event Details

Registration is closed for this event
A new two-hour session on Thermal Bypass with UK expert Mark Siddall.

Known as thermal bypass, air movement across, within and behind insulation increases heat loss, causes discomfort and enables mould growth. With the correct knowledge and skills, both in practice and onsite, failures in design and construction can be avoided and deliver buildings that perform as predicted.

Join us and author Mark Siddall for a live online workshop about his recently released report, Thermal Bypass Risks Technical Review.

In the workshop Mark, Principal at Lovingly Engineered Architecture Practice (LEAP), will review existing knowledge and understanding about the impact of thermal bypass and review a select number of current projects.

The workshop will explore how design and construction in our region can avoid performance gaps by addressing thermal bypass risks which arise during design and construction.
