Sustainable Design PTE’s focus on creating buildings and neighbourhoods with a lasting appeal to their occupiers is complemented by sound understanding and experience of the technical aspects of sustainability. In recent years the regulatory framework in which we operate has become increasingly complex, with the introduction of ambitious targets. PTE’s Head of Sustainable Design helps our project teams to give our clients practical advice on creating sustainable developments in a cost effective way. Our projects have successfully met a range of Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM ratings which concentrate on delivering the most appropriate solution to each individual site. We take a holistic view of sustainability and therefore use fabric first, passive environmental design measures to cut energy use and minimise the impact on the wider environment.
