Brian Murphy is a Technician and Architect by training, Specification writer by choice and Environmentalist by action. GBE’s ambition is to collect, organize, explain and define environmental solutions, then bring them to the mainstream, with data sets, equations, calculators, design and decision tools, to enable smooth passage through any technical and PII insurance barriers, real or imaginary, to enable a more sustainable industry with credible environmental outputs. GBE’s ambition is to continue to add to the existing 1800 pages and downloadable CPD and Specification files, towards Green Building Encyclopaedia’s 30,000 anticipated page website. As well as being one of the earliest TGR members, Brian is on TGR’s Steering Group, was an SBS workshop leader (NGS, Greening Your Office, Reducing waste by Design) and Regional Coodinator; Brian is also a member of the AECB, CAT, FoE, Greenpeace and WWF and speaks regularly on 1000 CPD topics to any audience.
