Cedar Rydal is ‘design led’ by two professional directors; Mark Watts RIBA and Ted Watts FRICS and was founded in 2006. Our aim is to create well designed and executed houses in an environmentally responsible way. We believe in the adage ‘fabric first’: placing greater emphasis and value in the building fabric, before considering appropriate ‘bolt-on’ renewable energy generation. We take time to consult with all parties, ensuring their input influences the outcome rather than imposing ‘off the peg’, standard house types, so each solution is as unique as the site itself.
